HERE COMES THE SUN!

How are you all doing?

We have made it ! It is officially Spring. (Let’s just ignore the fact it snowed last week but was a heatwave on Easter weekend! Welcome to Scotland!)

The lighter days mean I can catch those sunrise and sunset swims and I’m so grateful for the light! If you follow me on social media, you will know, I am mad for an outdoor swim these days. Yes… I am one of those people now. I find the water so inspiring, and actually a lot of my recent design work has been inspired by my time on the beach and in the water.

Following on from my last newsletter, do you guys remember the Georgian property we were working on?

Well we installed this and I am beyond delighted with the results we have achieved as a team. What a transformation, and the result of months of careful planning and problem solving.

The client loves it! What a win.

We also styled and finalised a kitchen and sun room project complete with a new bar in Edinburgh and the results are just heavenly. A calm, inspiring space to chill fitted with clever storage solutions designed by us.

I am just beaming with pride and appreciation for those who work with me on these projects. What a triumph!

Meh, conscious that this could read as a total brag, but believe me it’s not. It’s just a wee ode to the team I work with because let’s face it, I couldn’t do this without them, or without you fabulous clients who put your trust in me and the vision. Appreciate you!

Random thought of the month… You know I don’t buy into current trends, but have you noticed there’s a real shift in the interiors world towards warmer tones, even though we are moving into brighter days? This is intriguing. I’m finding myself really drawn personally to terracotta. I know!!! I am also shocked by this. But here we are, and I’m currently trying to find the correct shade to paint the ceiling in my sunroom. Yes, the ceiling. I’m just feeling like it’s just a super supportive colour for me at the moment and I feel like the sunroom ceiling really needs this at this moment in time. I’ll keep you posted on how this goes, eek!
